Not me but US... Ardent Octopus podcast is here! The core of the old band is still together and still writing music. After twenty years of distractions we are focusing on the music once again. This time technology and the internet make it possible to do things we never dreamed of before or at least could not afford.

OK, this page is supposed to be about me. Just about every conversation about me will eventually go back to the guitar and that back to Pete and the music. I have great kids and play the guitar, I said that already... Gee I am sure there is more to me than that, oh I like podcasting too. I also like some foods that other people think are disgusting and pancakes. My five year old daughter makes them perfectly every time and she is very good about washing her hands. I am also the father of three year old twins; do I have time to do this? I am certain that at some point the kids will be on the podcast. They may be too good and I will have to spin them off with there own show. A famous vaudeville star that I do not remember (perhaps W.C. Fields) once said, "Never share the stage with kids or puppies, they'll steel the show every time." Hmmm...Canoeing is good too. What do you like? And a big thanks to Podshow for making this easy enough for the busy crazy person to jump on board.


Special care was taken to approach the 9/11 podcast with respect. My intention was to honer the memory of those who perished on that day.

I dedicate that show to Joseph Gullickson & Arther Bary who should not have been at work that day and still made the ultimate sacrifice in the effort to save others. We will never forget!
